End of Season Reports

The East Herts team finished in the very middle of the table. There had been hopes earlier in the season of a higher finishing position but a couple of narrow losses meant the team slipped down a few places in the latter stages of the season.

The Welwyn and Hatfield team also finished mid-table. Entering a new league was a good experience and broadened the presence of the club. Congratulations to all those involved in this new adventure for the club.

The ladies team found themselves up against some good opposition and gave a good account of themselves. Again his was an excellent development of the club's team activities.

In the cup competitions we retained the Stanware cup and had good wins in the Thurgood and Ransom cups which surprised our opponents and provided further evidence of the growing capabilities of the club's players.
